KSHT: designers and producers of innovative and award winning shop fittings, exhibitions and displays
Kathryn Scanlan and Howard Tong have worked together informally for 20 years. They formally cemented the arrangement in 2005 with the formation of KSHT.
They design & produce innovative and award-winning shop fittings, exhibitions and displays. Their unique perspective has seen them create a greasy spoon cafe in the Nevada Dessert (Fred Perry), a lingerie launch staged by men in pants (Per Una Lingerie), and a warehouse with a funky vibe as a press show set (Next). Other projects include window displays fashioned from a rioting mob of miniature figures to giant flamingoes bearing gifts (Amouage); graphics that wrapped themselves around Dickens and Jones and Barkers, sadly as their swan song (HOF); shop fitting and store design experience ranging from a Russian Constructivist bar for the elite (Moloko Bar), to an awarded men’s store (Peter Werth, Earlham Street) inspired by a 1950’s car company headquarters.
